AWAKE Women's Ministry ("AWAKE," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through awakewomensministry.com, our sign-up forms, our Facebook and Instagram forms, and our text messages and emails, and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you sign up for a Bible study, gathering, devotional, or event, we may collect your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, the town or region you live in, the event or gathering you chose, how you would like to receive messages, and anything you choose to tell us (for example, food allergies). We also keep a record of whether you agreed to receive text messages. When you give online, payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number. Like most websites, our site may use cookies to understand how visitors use it.
How we use your information
We use your information to register you for the events you choose, send you confirmations, reminders, Zoom links, study materials, and daily devotionals, let you know about other AWAKE gatherings and studies, answer your questions, and keep records for our ministry. Zoom links and event locations are sent only to the women who registered.
Text messages (SMS)
If you check the consent box on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from AWAKE Women's Ministry about the events and devotionals you signed up for. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of joining any study or event.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Emails
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the ministry (such as our email and text messaging platform, our website host, Zoom, and our payment processor), only to the extent they need it to provide those services, or when the law requires it. A local gathering host may receive the names of the women who signed up for her gathering so she can welcome them.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children
Our ministry is for adult women. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing us at the address below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
